Ifoundit.com.au is the brainchild of Tanya Falco. Tanya has six children who, over the years, have lost more items than she cares to remember. Tanya created ifoundit.com.au as a great solution that goes beyond mere labelling. This system puts its members in touch with those who have found labelled items and at the same time protects the owner’s personal details. Young children can be a vulnerable target and a bonus feature of this system is that names and contact details can be kept private. With so many children, individually named labels had to be printed.

Tanya wished for a more streamlined system whereby the whole family had one identifying code - doing away with the need for individually named labels and tags for each member of the family. When it came time to move house, everything had to be relabelled which added extra expense, not to mention the time consumption. As Tanya often travels interstate, she sought to create a solution which ensured that lost items could be reunited with their owner on a national and even on an international scale.
